Okeanos has been involved with directing a project management team for the development of an offshore wind park and also as advisors to research institutes developing specialist equipment & vessels for offshore wind parks

 

Re-use of an existing oil & gas platform as central transformer and switch gear station project feasibility studies including cost estimates were also performed.

 

The development of offshore wind energy is closely monitored by Okeanos with memberships of various workgroups in relevant national bodies.
